Angel takes the book and looks it over. She doesn't recognize it, or even feel any familiarity about it. It's completely new to her. Perhaps the man saw it in another part of the library? It wouldn't surprise her if books changed places here.

"I'm not sure," she says. "It seems like something one would carry with them, as if for research or drawings. Have you seen it before?"
