Touch ALL the things! | Day 10 - Midday to Evening
[A - Library (Mid-day)]
[He'd killed someone. He couldn't quite grasp why, but there was blood, and his sword had gone through the guy's stomach, and he was dead.
And then he's awake. Or back to reality, whichever it was...he didn't feel like he'd actually been asleep, but he was alone, lying on his back, surrounded by books instead of blood and dead people. Or person, whatever. There might've been more, but the more he thought about it, the more frustrated he got. Maybe he wasn't supposed to remember.
Maybe he also isn't supposed to be sleeping on a bookshelf, since he shifts and ends up on the floor in a cloud of dust a second later. Then again, books aren't really supposed to have arms and legs either.]
Owww...dammit, that hurt...!
[B - Anywhere (Mid-day to Evening)]
[Once he gets his bearings, he'll be wandering through the house to get an idea of what to expect from it, picking anything he can get his hands on up to check it out. He's never been out and about like this--not that he's had any reason to, he's been perfectly content to hang around wherever he's been placed before--but this is sort of exciting in a strange way.]
[C - Dining Hall (Evening)]
Ugh, how am I supposed to get up there?
[He knows there's food up there; he can see it. Some of it, anyway, but the fact still stands that the food is up there and he's down on the floor.
Climbing the leg of the table proves to be pointless, as he can't get a proper handhold. Maybe if he tries one of the chairs...]
[OoC: I'm more used to action tags, but I can do prose if you'd prefer!]

a.
He pauses a moment to study the prone body in front of him. There's something a bit strange about the texture of the hair, but he can't tell for certain what it is from this far away. The paleness of the body's skin, as well, might suggest he's a book.]
You do realize you're in a library? Might want to keep it down, else the librarian might suggest you go elsewhere.
no subject
He pushes himself up into a sitting position on the floor, dusting himself off a little bit and scowling at his new companion.]
Well, it hurt. I shouldn't have been put up on such a high shelf.
no subject
In that case, perhaps catching the librarian's attention might prove useful. You might be able to convince them to find a new home for you.
no subject
So where is the librarian? Or should I make more noise and see if they show up?
no subject
no subject
[No way is he just hanging around in one spot. After all, that's all he's done before, and it seems far less interesting when he can potentially go wherever he wants to go.]
I'd rather look around myself.
no subject
[And he won't; he's got his own business to go about.]
c
[Says an all grey figure clad in black with goggles from four or five feet off.]
That's why I'm getting a grappling hook.
no subject
[Okay, so he knew what a hook was, but he hadn't heard of one used for grappling before. But this guy seemed to know what he was doing, so it seemed worth finding out.]
Is that going to work?
no subject
It's going to be totally sweet.
no subject
[You're the one with the idea, anyway.]
...So how are you going to do this?
B! idk, let's go with lounge
[Pity that one of the things Luke picks up happens to be a napping tiger's tail. Luckily for Luke, however, said tiger is tame and does not attempt to bite his hand off. In fact, he just sort of. Squirms out of the other's grip and--whines?
Yes, that was definitely a noise like a whine.]
Oiiii, watch it.....
Lounge is fine yes! :3
Whoa! H-hey, I didn't mean to wake you up. I was only looking around.
[Nice kitty. Can he pet you? He's going to try to pet your stomach.]
/o/
[What are you doing, petting is beneath him he's a proud jungle cat--
....okay no, not really. He's totally flopping over on his side for scratchies.
Some part of him should find this honestly embarrassing, but. He's been a pet for so long that it comes naturally.
Yaaaaaaawn that feels nice. -3-]
That's okay....
[Swish swish swish goes the tail. Yes, he is very okay with this right now.]
no subject
So what are you, anyway?
no subject
I'm...! A tiger. Person. Thing.
[SUPER DESCRIPTIVE!!!!]
no subject
[Tiger? Liger? Nah.]
