The body glimmers as the light spreads over its features, like a statue of precious metals stained with blood. Golden hair soaks in a pool of red that paints the floor like a canvas, extending out around the head and shoulders of the victim, still lazily seeping and expanding.

It's the body of the the oracle, and she is very much dead.

Her entire throat and chest is a mess of gore. The blood coats the skin and cloth so that it's hard to make out details, but there is one thing certain - something has cut deep into her chest cavity, as it carving something out from inside.

The body is still warm, but you never heard her scream.

Retrieving an object that way seems to be a one trick sort of deal. However, since it is a relatively brief period of time to search, he will be able to rewind to the moment that the door unlocks. With some good timing he will be able to make it inside.

He gets the impression its something he could do only because of how recent entry was, though. So as time passes, performing this trick will become more difficult.

The white room looks the same as it always has. For the moment, anyway.

He'll do that before he goes off to eventually find the body of the oracle, then. And before he leaves the room, he's going to stick a random piece of junk between the door and the frame. Something small, but enough to 'jam' it open so he can get back inside it - or if it's closed fully when he returns, know for a fact that someone has come and gone.

Keeping this in the same thread for sake of simplicity...

Tick Tock and Swordarms are doing to go down the hall in the direction the 'trail' goes looking for further signs of passage. If that doesn't turn up anything easily. would it be possible to get a scene with Nancy for them to ask if she or her children saw anything? Since it happened in the library?

If Tick Tock starts going around trying to call for Nancy, then he will eventually be greeted by three of her children! We can do this in thread form if you desire.

For the record, the door has been shut. Any attempts to open it again, presently, will not be effective. Looks like someone has been in and out!
