She sits up immediately, with a little gasp, her eyes wide, as though from some kind of absorbing dream. A moment ago she was legion, powerful, surrounded by a blue and cloud-swirled sky and raining down destruction –

And now she's back in the kitchen; there is only one of her, and her lips, when they part in surprise, are glass instead of steel. She doesn't feel powerful at all. Her knee hurts.

She stares up at the music box, and the clock, and swallows – or looks like she swallows, although it's plain to see, through the hollow transparent glass of her neck, that there is nothing there to swallow with. She bites her lip with her small, neat, sharp teeth. "What happened?" she asks quietly. "I fell asleep–?"

The timekeeper nodded and shuffled back shyly, "Yeah. You were. I'm glad the ki- waking you up worked."

He smiled at the music man, then the glass woman, and gave a wave, "Since you're safe, I'm going to get going. I have someone I need to speak to."

She looks at the clock curiously – she doesn't remember the kiss at all, so his demeanour is pretty baffling from where she's sitting.

... Which is on the floor. She starts to get up, half pushing herself to her feet and half fluttering.

"Wait," she says, "how did you wake me up? It was the vines, wasn't it, I couldn't wake anybody up from that –"

The timekeeper blushed and waved again, "He's the one that did that. I'll let him explain. I really- I need to go."

He begged off the explanation and hurried out, head down and shoulders hunched. A kiss was a big deal to him. The music man acted like it shouldn't be, but it was. He needed to figure this out for himself somehow.

[[and he hurries off like a good little hero. flustered beyond belief.]]
