Squawky Man is collapsed on his back halfway down one of the smaller staircases in the Grand Hall. Even while sleeping, he looks pretty peeved. This probably isn't going to be a pleasant experience for anyone.

While picking his way through the wreckage of the Grand Hall he comes across a figure partially obscured by vines. He doesn't waste a second in ripping them away to free whoever is beneath them. He's shocked when he finds the angry bird man, furious even in sleep, with his feathers all out of sorts.

If the house was telling the truth, then all he had to do was kiss him and he would wake up. It seemed embarrassing, doubly so because it was this guy. He was pretty sure the bird hated him. But if he wanted him to wake up (and he did, he wanted everyone to wake up and be happy and safe), then he had to do it. Bird guy was just going to have to deal with it.

He leans in and kisses him right on the mouth.

His eyes open almost instantaneously. There's a face looming over him, a somewhat familiar face. He opens his mouth to protest, only to be met with.... more mouth?

Squawking, he attempts to shove his rescuer away as well as he can with his arms still tangled in the vines. He doesn't know what dino boy's doing, and he doesn't care: he wants him out of his face, as soon as possible.

Dino boy sputters, falling backward with a thunk. He props himself up on an elbow and rubs the back of his head, glaring at bird boy. His reaction was completely understandable, but that hurt, and it's not like he enjoyed doing that.

"Welcome back," he mumbles grumpily.

"What was that for?" he gasps, and lurches up after him. Or tries to, at least. He's still weak from his time in tantrum baby jail, so he only manages to get up halfway before he topples over into the vines again. The noise he makes is half dammit and half rawwwwkkkkk!

"Woah!" he says, scrambling to help prop up the bird man after his fall. He thought he'd looked bad, but he didn't know he was... Bad. Did the vines do more than put you to sleep? Was this some weird after-effect? "What happened? Are you going to be okay?" He asks, completely forgetting about the question.

Squawky man shoots him a positively venomous glance. It's also positively painful, given his current state half-starved and covered in thorns. He jerks one of his hands free from the plants, and it comes away with a foot-long stretch of vine attached. He gets rid of it by tossing it in dino boy's face.

As he rises to his feet his features grow distinctly more avian. The other guy's questions go unanswered, unless you count "vaguely distressed beak grinding noises" as an answer.
