Day 8
(Afternoon / Any Room / OTA)
Hey! want to join a music group!
[She is coming up to literally anyone and everyone to ask them this question. Unless of course you look sick or injured from the vines mess, and then she will just be looking at you with sad concern. And then asking you to join.]
(Evening / Library / OTA)
[Of course after she's done bothering everyone in existence she spends sometime in the library, looking up books on music. She climbs shelves, despite the danger and the fact that she's made of glass, slipping once or twice before thankfully catching herself.]
[Except for when she doesn't, if anyone feels like catching a girl made of glass (closed for igirisu-sama)]
[When she gets the books she needs, she carries a heavy stack of them over to a desk. A few fall from the stack to the floor and she stumbles on them. She piles them high on the desk. Occasionally a few drop on her when she pulls one from the stack and she spends a few minutes spazzing and setting the fallen books to the side.]
[Of course it isn't long before she grows bored of reading, and hums to herself, dancing in her chair, before eventually just falling asleep.]
(ooc: feel free to have your character respond to any of the actions she takes during the library scene, not just her falling asleep at the end.

Afternoon / The Lounge
A music group?
no subject
[She's even more excited to see someone else looking interested.]
I don't really know how it works, but you stand on stage like this!
[And she stands and plays the air guitar, even though she has no idea what a guitar is she remembers holding one and making it sing.]
And then you make noise people like!
no subject
Regardless, even though he shouldn't, he knows exactly what she means. ]
...You play together to make one complete sound, ja? And many people watch and listen.
[ He holds his hands as if he is holding something as well, imitating her. But their gestures are exactly the same somehow. He knows there is something he -- they -- are supposed to be holding, but he can't remember what. That absence seems lonely for some reason. ]
It's very loud, but it makes them very happy anyway. ...Yes, I think I know what you mean.
no subject
[And she can't believe someone else here knows that feeling. She throws her arms up in her excitement.]
And everyone is screaming haha, it looked like so much fun!
So you want to join then??
no subject
...I would love to, yes. It does seem like fun, and the Master will probably be very surprised as well.
But do you think others will join?
no subject
[She still holds no grudge against her missing master. It doesn't yet occur to her that she should.]
I bet we can get a lot of people to join! Maybe some of them will know- [and she starts to air guitar again.] too!
evening, library
So he circles around to the other side to reprimand her for climbing, naturally, and then— she slips.
He rushes forward just in time to put himself between her and the ground; she's small enough compared to him that catching her isn't too strenuous. It's mostly the suddenness of the manoeuvre that brings him to the ground. But his arms are wrapped securely around her, one under her knees and one around her back, and his body cushions the (now minor) impact with the ground.
That was close!]

Panic bubbles up in his chest. He has no idea what he's doing, as well as no idea who this girl actually is, but— he can't just leave her in tears.] Shh, shh, it's all right! See— we're fine!
[He continues to hold her tight as he stumbles over the dumb reassurances, mostly because he doesn't know what else to do.]
no subject
Sorry..
[And snot is trailing down her nose a bit, and she hiccups between words.]
I was just scared.. Thank you.
no subject
It's all right— [He notes then that she's made of glass, something he hadn't noticed in his haste to catch her. That would have been extremely unlucky for her if she'd actually hit the ground.] Are you hurt?
no subject
I don't- no, I don't think so.
[She smiles at him, even weak as it is, it's somewhat dazzling. It's the magic of her seeming, not that she realizes it, not that this guy would either.]
Was I in your way?
no subject
Well— I came to chide you for climbing the shelves. [That would probably sound a bit more grumpy were he not under the happiness-inducing effect of her abilities.] But I suppose you've learnt your lesson about that.
woah, sorry about the colorful action tags there.
I couldn't find the ladders...
[She admits, shifting in his arms to knock herself on the head, making a gentle clink noise as glass met glass.]
it's ok, i totally thought it was just to indicate seeming magic haha
He shifts a little, wondering silently to himself if she's all right to stand— but she'll get up of her own accord, he assumes.] What was it that you were looking for, exactly?
Re: it's ok, i totally thought it was just to indicate seeming magic haha
Oh, just looking for books on music. Have you heard of it before?
Afternoon
no subject
Afternoon
Don't ya dare talk to me about music.
Re: Afternoon
[Fortunately for tongues, she's never heard of such a nickname. Unfortunately for tongues she doesn't know to shut up when someone gives her sour looks.]
no subject
[At least, she's blaming it for the fact that she's remembered nothing else of use.]
no subject
no subject
no subject
[She has no idea what to say to that.]
Are you okay?
no subject
[Yeah she's pretty much roaring at this point.]
no subject
I-it's okay. You don't have to if you don't want to.
no subject
[With that, she bares her teeth at the stranger.
She'll probably apologise once she realises her reaction was wildly out of proportion.]
Afternoon, the Grand Hall
A music group? I uh...I don't know! I don't think I've ever played music before.
Re: Afternoon, the Grand Hall
Re: Afternoon, the Grand Hall
I um...maybe? I don't really remember singing before, but that doesn't really mean I've never done it.
Sorry, everything's such a blur.
[He offers her a shy smile.]
I could try, I suppose.
Afternoon | Lounge! also forget the icon he is 100% bird right now
He just. Kind of shuffles and flaps his wings a little uncomfortably on top of his branch before settling again. ]
I'm no songbird. There are others in the house, though. [ he adds, after a moment. ] You could try asking them.
no subject
no subject
[ because if so he sort of spreads his wings and flaps them like he's trying to prove a point. Bird, what do you expect him to do. ]
no subject
[Uh.. she can't actually think of anything else, but that's good enough, right?]
....It'll be fun!
no subject
Do we even have any around here? I thought Mason said he'd moved all of us elsewhere.
