SLEEPING BEAUTIES: DREAM LOG
Bewitched by the thorn's touch, you have been ensnared in the deepest of sleep. Fortunately for you, the world of Faerie doesn't end with the waking.
The world of your dreams is brighter now, more clear than you've ever witnessed it. You've been it before, you think, there fragments of yourself become reality. But now you are somehow more lucid in its presence, and it's more real - something you can reach out and touch.
You find yourself in this world, and you are not alone. Your dreams and those of other join at the edges, pulling into each other along similar threads.
And you are watched by something even greater.

Re: OPEN
"Yo, is your dream structurally sound? Or are we gonna plummet?"
"Don't jinx it," her twin calls, from a few feet behind.

"You're not fallin' right now, are ya?"
no subject
The pink peacock lightly kicks his ankle with the edge of her foot.
"'S a nicer dream than ours, at least. And falling ain't so bad. It's the landing that's a problem."

"Our city," the pink peacock says, because the memory is slowly coming to her. "It was the city we grew up. We were in the ghetto our house was in and it was empty and everything looked like something bad was gonna happen."
"Yes," says the blue peacock, even though he did not recognise the place, at all. "So, ah. We're a little on edge, darling."
no subject
"Well, nothing's happenin' here, so ya should be alright. As long as--" Oh lord if she thinks about the music it will start again, won't it. "Yeah, let's pass the time, I guess."

The blue peacock rolls his eyes but says nothing, only crosses his arms and pouts.

It now dawns on the girl that she's got nothin'.
"... Look, if ya wanna go somewhere else, that's your call, but some of the dreams out there are pretty nasty, so you're better off stayin' put."
no subject
"I ain't got a problem with that," the pink peacock says. "But if you don't have cards, you'll have to provide conversation. What's with the clouds? Weird as hell dreamscape you've got here."
The blue peacock makes a huffing noise, annoyed quite deeply at his twin.
no subject
"Ain't got much to talk about either. Hell, I doubt I did much talkin' up until I woke up."
no subject
The pink peacock groans and hides her face in her hands.
no subject
"Yeah? Well, what are ya?"
no subject
The blue peacock looks rather smug at that.
"We could alway talk, darling," he says.
