SLEEPING BEAUTIES EPILOGUE: THE KISS
[For all your kissing needs.]

"Yes." Despite the situation, he gives a small smile. "Just place your lips onto hers. That should be enough to wake her."

"Then you know it's a simple solution, ja? Strange though it may be."
Actually... he hadn't thought about it before, but why was that the solution?

"I haven't either until today. I can assure you, it really isn't very difficult." Unless one is trying to do it with a giant, multi-headed beast, anyhow. "So there is no need to worry."

"Mmmm... could you wake her up?" he murmured. "Someone woke me up and they didn't tell me that's how they did it. I should go and... talk to them."

Regardless, this was a simple matter, so MusicBox supposed there was no point in pursuing this mystery further. If anything, he could always ask him about it later when the other wasn't preoccupied on finding others he needed to speak to right away for whatever reason.
"...Certainly. It isn't any trouble at all. Here." He approached the sleeping girl and, as he had with the others, very gently placed his lips onto hers. Contrary to the other, MusicBox had no signs of embarrassment... or even concern of any kind. To him it was only an action and held no other meaning or emotion behind it. It was just a strange choice of action for waking another is all.
Hopefully Clockwork was watching so he could see for himself how quick and simple this was to do. No need to be nervous about it.

And now she's back in the kitchen; there is only one of her, and her lips, when they part in surprise, are glass instead of steel. She doesn't feel powerful at all. Her knee hurts.
She stares up at the music box, and the clock, and swallows – or looks like she swallows, although it's plain to see, through the hollow transparent glass of her neck, that there is nothing there to swallow with. She bites her lip with her small, neat, sharp teeth. "What happened?" she asks quietly. "I fell asleep–?"

He smiled at the music man, then the glass woman, and gave a wave, "Since you're safe, I'm going to get going. I have someone I need to speak to."

... Which is on the floor. She starts to get up, half pushing herself to her feet and half fluttering.
"Wait," she says, "how did you wake me up? It was the vines, wasn't it, I couldn't wake anybody up from that –"

He begged off the explanation and hurried out, head down and shoulders hunched. A kiss was a big deal to him. The music man acted like it shouldn't be, but it was. He needed to figure this out for himself somehow.
[[and he hurries off like a good little hero. flustered beyond belief.]]
