[Red and Yellow: for Ember]
The feeling overcomes him.
Like a whole new warmth, the sensation spreads from his chest, all the way to his hands and his toes. He feels it like a fresh light, like a second flame inside of him. His footsteps feel more natural, more balanced. Instead of constantly fearing, there is a strange levity in his heart.
For the first time since awakening, the hearth loves and feels loved.
He wants to tell someone, he thinks. It's all so wonderful and new. He finds his way back to the Hearth Room, looking to one of the few people he might call his friend. He wanders, naked, not for lack of option, but because his need for privacy no longer occurs to him.
His voice sounds so soft and warm that it sounds like another person.
"Forge?" he calls, smiling. "Forge? Are you here?"
[Yellow As Hell: OPEN!]
He wanders without restriction now, and without the fear of his peers that he's expressed since he first awoke. He's smiling for the first time since everything started - smiling like he's genuinely happy in a way no one here has been able to see him.
He feels good, and he feels safe, and though he doesn't understand it he doesn't feel the need to. Everything just feels...right.
He'll be found all over the house, today, smiling and acknowledging both strangers and allies. It's surreal on how jarring it is, with how the hearth usually behaves.
